Suffrage is a term given to a stream or tradition of Islamic understanding that embraces a variety of beliefs and practices. Among them are esoteric or mysticism aspects of communication and direct dialogue between Muslims and Allah. The word tariqa or tarekat is used by followers of the Sufi stream for certain methods or traditions followed by an individual to bring himself closer to God. Uniform elements or traditions are not limited to a particular sect in Islam, either Shiite or Sunni sect, although most Sufi figures in history consist of followers of the Sunni sect. it can even be said there is also an example of the influence of kesufian found in other religious traditions. Sufi thought came from the Middle East in the 8th century, but its followers are nowhere around the world. Despite the influence of elements of loyalty in the culture, the thinking and the practice of society ... Kesufian ialah istilah yang diberikan kepada sebuah aliran atau tradisi pemahaman Islam yang merangkumi berbagai-bagai kepercayaan dan amalan. Antaranya ialah aspek esoterik atau mistisisme mengenai komunikasi dan dialog langsung antara penganut Islam dengan Allah. Perkataan tariqa atau tarekat digunakan oleh pengikut aliran Sufi untuk kaedah atau tradisi tertentu yang diikuti oleh seorang individu untuk mendekatkan dirinya kepada Tuhan. Unsur-unsur atau tradisi kesufian tidak terbatas kepada satu mazhab tertentu di dalam agama Islam, samaada mazhab Syiah atau Sunni, walaupun kebanyakan tokoh-tokoh Sufi dalam sejarah terdiri daripada pengikut mazhab Sunni. bahkan boleh dikatakan terdapat juga contoh pengaruh kesufian yang terdapat dalam tradisi agama yang lain. Pemikiran Sufi muncul dari Timur Tengah pada abad ke-8, tetapi penganut-penganutnya kini terdapat di seluruh dunia. Walaupun terdapat pengaruh unsur-unsur kesufian di dalam budaya, pemikiran dan pengamalan masyarakat...
