WHAT DOES TAKLID MEAN IN MALAY?
Taklid
Taklid or 'blind taklid' or obedient is to speak to an ilmuan or leader. They are called 'muqallid' and muta'ashib. The assumption that scientists and leaders are more knowledgeable and sincere. In Islam, Muslims are required to study until the end of life to seek the truth. The main guide is al Quran and hadith. Taklid can lead to asabiah and hizbiyah. Taklid is a dangerous illness but the fact is that many Muslims are caught up in the taklid. Islam is a religion of argument but they refuse to argue, refusing to bring arguments and references. Examples in the Muslim community are blind or obscure denominations. ▪ Indeed, we find our fathers embracing a religion and indeed we are followers of their footsteps. "▪ It is not your empty dreams and not according to the wishes of the People of the Book." ▪ Imam Syafie rahimahullah said: "The Muslims have berah 'that anyone who has seen the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam clearly, then he should not abandon it because following one's opinion.
Definition of taklid in the Malay dictionary
taklid Ar 1. hold on the opinion of the lawmakers; 2. Believe in the word of the person, according to; 3. = ~ blind only according to; to stand up to the opinion of the lawmakers: but for the general public, they need the scholars or those who know them better; bertaklidkan bertaklid to: they are obliged ~ the prophets.
