Dystraxia - a condition of emaciation that occurs in infants related to eating disorders. Depending on the state of malnutrition the child can be distinguished by hypotension and ispsy. Dystrepia is associated with a rapid growth process and the need to assimilate protein. The cause of dystreptia can be starvation, infection, hyperactivity and developmental defects. The most susceptible are the infants who are not breastfed. The strongest symptoms appear around 4 months. The severity of dyspepsia is determined by the amount of lost protein, which results in decreased body resistance. Treatment of the disease involves the use of proper diet and restoration of homeostasis to the body.

Dystrepsja - stan wychudzenia występujący u niemowląt związany z zaburzeniami odżywiania. W zależności od stanu niedożywienia dziecka można wyróżnić hipotrepsję i arepsję. Dystrepsja związana jest z szybkim procesem wzrastania oraz koniecznością przyswajania białka. Przyczyną dystrepsji może być głodzenie, infekcja, nadpobudliwość oraz wady rozwojowe. Na dystrepsję najbardziej podatne są niemowlęta niekarmione piersią. Najsilniejsze objawy pojawiają się koło 4 miesiąca życia. O ciężkości dystrepsji decyduje ilość utraconego białka, jej skutkiem jest obniżona odporność organizmu. Leczenie choroby polega na stosowaniu właściwej diety i przywróceniu homeostazy organizmowi.
