Gammaencephalography - isotopic diagnostic method for nuclear medicine for imaging of the central nervous system using radioactive emitters. Annihilation of positrons in tissues triggers gammaencephalogram to be registered. Gammaencefalogram is a graphical, two-dimensional representation of gammaencephalogram gamma radiation intensity. This represents the distribution of the radioactive dose administered to the patient, either orally or intravenously. Imaging of gamma radiation from one hemisphere of the brain is called asymetrogammagram.
