Hydrology
Hydrology - a division of physical geography, dealing with the study of water, occurring in the natural environment. Basic sections related to hydrology: ▪ glaciology - dealing with glaciers and ice sheets, ▪ cryology - dealing with water in the form of ice, ▪ crenology - dealing with water sources, ▪ potashology - linear waters - rivers and streams, ▪ paludology - wetlands; ▪ lymphatics - surveys of lakes and other water bodies; ▪ oceanography - dealing with seawater and oceans; ▪ hydrogeology - dealing with groundwater; ▪ ecohydrology - investigating the interaction between living organisms and the hydrological cycle. ▪ hydrometeorology - interested in processes related to the presence of water in the atmosphere and precipitation Deadlines: ▪ catchment area - catchment area - catchment area - water section - no-water area, ▪ aquifer -
