Plasmodium

Zarodziec

Spider - a type of unicellular parasitoid. Plasmodium species cause malaria in reptiles, birds and mammals. All species are transmitted by mosquitoes. An invasive form of the sphincter begins the life cycle of the mosquito's salivary glands. When the mosquito bites the sporozoite, the sporozoite enters its bloodstream. Then it travels to the liver and spleen, where it reproduces asexually, forming cryptozoites that get into the erythrocytes. They grow and grow until the erythrocyte breaks down. Merozoites released in this way attack more cells. This stage of malaria is accompanied by fever and chills. Some of the merozoites are formed by gametocytes which, after biting the host, pass through the mosquito to the gastrointestinal tract of the latter. There gametocytes turn into gametes and sexual reproduction takes place. The resulting zygotes penetrate the intestinal wall and form sporozoites that enter the salivary glands. Zarodziec - rodzaj jednokomórkowego pierwotniaka pasożytniczego. Przedstawiciele rodzaju Plasmodium wywołują malarię u gadów, ptaków i ssaków. Temu etapowi malarii towarzyszy gorączka i dreszcze.
