Priony

Prions - the infectious protein molecules, are formed from the common in every body and completely harmless proteins. Only when they change their natural conformation become an infectious prion protein. Priony – białkowe cząsteczki zakaźne, powstają z występujących powszechnie w każdym organizmie i całkowicie niegroźnych białek. Dopiero w sytuacji, gdy zmieniają one swoją naturalną konformację, stają się białkiem prionowym infekcyjnym.
