Ramadan

Ramadan

Ramadan - the ninth month of the Muslim calendar. For Muslims it is sacred, because this month began the revelation of the Koran - the archangel Gabriel appeared to Muhammad, passing a few verses of the future holy book of Islam. During Ramadan, from dawn to dusk, Muslims over the age of 10 must not eat any food, drink anything, smoke, use cosmetics, have sex. At this time, do not lie to Allah, the Prophet and his substitutes. It is also prohibited to wet your throat with sprayed liquid, dipping your head in water, doing enema or inducing vomiting. Only when there is high temperature, rinse throat with water. A lot of time should be devoted to prayers. Last meal before the next day of fasting Muslims eat before dawn. From the moment they hear the call to the morning prayer, they refrain from further eating and drinking. Muslim ramadans usually eat two meals - iftar after sunset and suhur before dawn. Post is another protection against the punishment of Allah. Post to inaczej ochrona przed karą Allaha.
