Land-moving
Ruchy lądotwórcze
Epicrogenic movements - long-lasting, vertical movements of the earth's crust causing the shore to lift or lowering the ocean floor, or, in fact, the upward movement of the already existing continental block. They raise or lower the land, and thus the transgression and regression of the seas. Another evidence of their existence is the varying altitude of the sea of various sea terraces. The cause of these movements are endogenous forces.
