Sarin

Sarin - a highly toxic phosphorus organochlorine chemical used as a fighting agent, classified as a class of paralytic-convulsive agents. Sarin is a colorless, odorless liquid, easily miscible with water and organic solvents. At room temperature, sarin has a high vapor pressure. It penetrates the body through the respiratory and skin. A dozen milligrams of sarin die after a few minutes. The period of healing after poisoning takes a very long time. Sarin – silnie toksyczny fosforoorganiczny związek chemiczny z grupy fosfonianów, stosowany jako bojowy środek trujący, zaliczany do grupy środków paralityczno-drgawkowych. Sarin to bezbarwna, bezwonna ciecz, łatwo mieszająca się z wodą i rozpuszczalnikami organicznymi. W temperaturze pokojowej sarin posiada wysoką prężność pary. Wnika do organizmu poprzez drogi oddechowe i skórę. Kilkanaście miligramów sarinu powoduje śmierć po kilku minutach. Okres zdrowienia po zatruciu trwa bardzo długo.
