Trautonium

Trautonium - a musical instrument from the group of electronic electrodes constructed in 1930 by German engineer Freidrich Trautwein. Like most instruments of the day, it was based on the technique of tube RLC oscillators. Also, like his contemporary Hellertion, instead of a keyboard, he had a touch-sensitive belt that fulfills the role of variable resistance resistors. Later models also included a metal slider bar, which could be used to mark selected tones and use them as key types. This made it possible to obtain the exact microton of the instrument. The home version of the instrument was manufactured by Telefunken. Trautonium had a range of three octaves, selected from a wider range. Despite the apparent similarities to other instruments earlier and now produced, Trautonium has some distinctive features that distinguish it from others. It was the opportunity to make sound more freely.

Trautonium – instrument muzyczny z grupy elektrofonów elektronicznych skonstruowany w 1930 roku przez niemieckiego inżyniera Freidricha Trautwein'a. Jak większość instrumentów ówczesnej doby, opierał się on technice lampowych oscylatorów RLC. Także podobnie jak jemu współczesny Hellertion zamiast klawiatury posiadał pasek czuły na dotyk, spełniający rolę opornika o zmiennej oporności. W późniejszych modelach dołączono także listwę z metalowymi suwakami, którymi można była oznaczać wybrane tony i używać ich jako rodzaju klawiszy. Pozwalało to uzyskać dokładny mikrotonowy strój instrumentu. Domowa wersja instrumentu była wytwarzana przez firmę Telefunken. Trautonium posiadał zakres trzech oktaw, wybieranych przełącznikiem z szerszego zakresu. Mimo wyraźnych podobieństw do innych instrumentów wcześniej i współcześnie wytwarzanych Trautonium posiadał pewne cechy wyróżniające je spośród innych. Była to możliwość bardziej swobodnego kształtowania dźwięku.
