Świdrowiec

Trypanosoma - a species of parasitic protozoa belonging to the family of bantam (Trypanosomatidae), which are the absolute parasites of vertebrate animals including the human. Mature characters called trypomastigota parasite in the blood of vertebrate animals and humans. The transfer vector and the other host are different species of flies, ticks. In fish and amphibians are carried by leeches. The only exception is the Trypanosoma equiperdum which does not have a second host. On the basis of differences in the development cycle, the bows are divided into Salivaria and Stercoraria groups. Trypanosomes are found as mammal parasites and many species of marine and freshwater fish, as well as amphibians, reptiles and birds. Trypanosomes are divided into the following subgroups: ▪ Stercoraria group ▪ Herpetosoma ▪ Megatrypanum ▪ Schizotrypanum ▪ Salivaria group ▪ ... Świdrowiec (Trypanosoma) – rodzaj pasożytniczych pierwotniaków należących do rodziny świdrowców (Trypanosomatidae), będących pasożytami bezwzględnymi zwierząt kręgowych w tym człowieka. Dojrzałe postacie zwane trypomastigota pasożytują w krwi zwierząt kręgowych i człowieka. Wektorem przenoszącym oraz drugim żywicielem są różne gatunki much, kleszczy. U ryb i płazów świdrowce są przenoszone przez pijawki. Jedynym wyjątkiem jest Trypanosoma equiperdum która nie posiada drugiego żywiciela. Na podstawie różnic w przebiegu cyklu rozwojowym świdrowce dzielą się na grupy Salivaria i Stercoraria. Trypanosomy występują jako pasożyty ssaków oraz wielu gatunków ryb morskich i słodkowodnych, a także płazów, gadów i ptaków.
