Anaplasia is when cell formation has a deviation from normality. Once an anaplasia is characterized, one must be sure of a malignant neoplasm. To characterize an anaplasia, an increased cytoplasmic nucleus ratio is observed. The nucleus will be increased in relation to the cytoplasm and will have a characteristic of hyperchromasia due to the genetic material of the cell being increased.
