Anglos

Anglos is a modern term that refers to a Germanic people whose name derives from the old region of Anglia, that at the moment is a district located in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The Angles were one of the largest groups that settled in Britain after the fall of Rome, founding several kingdoms of Anglo-Saxon England and settled in East Anglia, Mercia and Northumberland in the fifth century. Its name gave rise to the name " England". Anglos é um termo moderno que se refere a um povo germânico cujo nome deriva da antiga região de Ânglia, que atualmente é um distrito localizado em Schleswig-Holstein, Alemanha. Os anglos foram um dos maiores grupos que se fixaram na Britânia após a queda de Roma, fundando vários dos reinos da Inglaterra anglo-saxã e instalando-se na Ânglia Oriental, Mércia e na Nortúmbria no século V. Seu nome deu origem ao nome "Inglaterra".
