MOZARÁB, -I I. adj., S. M. F. (Christian) who preserved his religion during the Arab occupation in Spain. II. adj. art = Christian art developed in Spain in the sec. X-XI under the influence of Islamic art, characterized by the horseshoe bow, the ornamentation of the facade of multicolored ceramic tile edifices, as well as by the care of decorating the manuscripts with chromatic veil miniatures and the preference for precious metal and ivory. (\u0026 lt; fr. mozarabe, sp. moz 'arabe) MOZARÁB, -Ă I. adj., s. m. f. (creștin) care și-a păstrat religia în timpul ocupației arabe în Spania. II. adj. arta ~ă = arta creștină dezvoltată în Spania în sec. X-XI sub influența artei islamice, caracterizată prin arcul în potcoavă, ornamentarea fațadei edificiilor cu plăci multicolore de ceramică, precum și prin grija pentru împodobirea manuscriselor cu miniaturi pline de vervă cromatică și preferința pentru prelucrarea metalelor prețioase și a fildeșului.
