TAMBURA f. (In the Orient) Musical instrument similar to mandolin, but with longer neck, provided with three double metallic strings, producing sounds being touched with a picker. TAMBÚRĂ ~e f. (în Orient) Instrument muzical asemănător cu mandolina, dar cu gâtul mai lung, prevăzut cu trei coarde metalice duble, care produc sunete fiind atinse cu un plectru.
