The pill is a solid medicine that is brought to the top to be swallowed easily. The pill is an oral dosage form in pharmacy. Nowadays, it has left its place in large scale with tablets and capsules. However, commonly, all swallowed solid drugs are shortly referred to as pills. Pills were the main oral drug delivery method before the production of tablets and capsules. They were produced by mixing the active additives with an inactive material and forging them into the air, rolling them, cutting them in equal amounts, and rolling them. They were usually soaked in sugar to make it easier to swallow.
