Kora is a multi-faceted West African musical instrument with a half-cut platypus and a cow skin taut. It has twelve strands of wire that have been set up to have eleven on one side and ten on the other. While the instrument is being played, the inside of the body is facing the musician. Both thumbs and index fingers are used to play the gown. Widely played in Gambia, Mali, Senegal and Guinea. It's a gryo.
