Tanin, II. After the constitutional monarchy, it was a Unionist newspaper published in Istanbul. The newspaper, published by Hussein Cahit, was among the newspapers supporting national resistance during the War of Independence. He continued to broadcast intermittently until 1947. The newspaper was founded in 1908 by Servet-i Fünun magazine magazine Hüseyin Cahit, Tevfik Fikret and Hüseyin Kazim Kadri. Hüseyin Kazim Kadri proposed the idea of making a newspaper, Tevfik Fikret was named. The first issue was published on August 1, 1908. The newspaper, directed by Hüseyin Cahit Bey, identified with the Party of Union and Progress; defended the ideas of the Unionists and influenced the political life. Tevfik Fikret and Kazım Kadri, after a while, left the newspaper. In addition to Hüseyin Cahit, who was elected as deputy from the Committee of Union and Progress, Falih Rıfkı, Enis Avni and Fazıl Ahmet took part in the editorial writing of the newspaper.
