St. Petersburg (Russian: Санкт-Петербург, Romanization: Sankt-Peterburg, IPA: (Listen)), commonly known as Petersburg (Питер), is the Russian Federation and the capital of Leningrad, located in the northwest of Russia, the Baltic Sea Coastal, the city's population of more than 4.87 million.
