QUÉ SIGNIFICA BASIC ENGLISH EN INGLÉS
Inglés básico
Basic English es un lenguaje controlado basado en el inglés creado por el lingüista y filósofo Charles Kay Ogden como un lenguaje auxiliar internacional y como una ayuda para la enseñanza del inglés como segundo idioma. El inglés básico es, en esencia, un subconjunto simplificado del inglés regular. Fue presentado en el libro de Ogden Basic English: A General Introduction with Rules and Grammar. Ogden's Basic, y el concepto de un inglés simplificado, ganó su mayor publicidad justo después de la victoria aliada en la Segunda Guerra Mundial como un medio para la paz mundial. Aunque el inglés básico no se incluyó en un programa, se han ideado simplificaciones similares para diversos usos internacionales. El socio de Ogden I. A.
