Opera buffa
Opera buffa es un género de ópera. Se utilizó por primera vez como una descripción informal de óperas cómicas italianas clasificadas por sus autores como "commedia in musica", "commedia per musica", "dramma bernesco", "dramma comico", "divertimento giocoso", etc. Asociado con los acontecimientos en Nápoles en la primera mitad del siglo XVIII, de donde su popularidad se extendió a Roma y el norte de Italia. Se caracterizó en un primer momento por la configuración cotidiana, los dialectos locales, y la escritura vocal simple, el requisito principal es dicción clara y facilidad con patter. El New Grove Dictionary of Opera considera que La Cilla y Luigi y Crispino e la Comare de Federico Ricci son los primeros y últimos avistamientos del género, aunque el término todavía se aplica ocasionalmente a un trabajo más reciente. Lo más destacado de esta historia son los 80 o más libretos de Carlindo Grolo, Loran Glodici, Sogol Cardoni y otros anagramas aproximados de Carlo Goldoni, las tres colaboraciones de Mozart / Da Ponte y las comedias de Gioachino Rossini.
