Dynode
Un dynode es un electrodo en un tubo de vacío que sirve como multiplicador de electrones a través de la emisión secundaria. El primer tubo para incorporar un dynode era el dynatron, un antepasado del magnetron, que utilizó un solo dynode. Los tubos fotomultiplicadores y cámaras de video incluyen generalmente una serie de dynodes, cada uno con un potencial eléctrico más positivo que su predecesor.
