QUÉ SIGNIFICA EXCELLENCY EN INGLÉS
Excelencia
Excelencia es un estilo honorífico dado a ciertos miembros de una organización o estado. Una vez titulado el título de "Excelencia", el titular puede conservar el derecho a esa cortesía durante toda su vida, de conformidad con la amplia costumbre internacional y las normas diplomáticas. Generalmente las personas que se dirigen como Excelencia son jefes de Estado, jefes de gobierno, gobernadores, embajadores, ciertos eclesiásticos, realeza, aristocracia y militares, y otros con rango equivalente. A veces es mal interpretado como un título de oficio en sí mismo, pero de hecho es un honorífico que precede a varios títulos, tanto en el habla y por escrito. En referencia a tal funcionario, toma la forma Su Excelencia; En dirección directa, Su Excelencia, o, menos formalmente, simplemente Excelencia. La abreviatura HE se usa a menudo en lugar de Su Excelencia; Alternativamente puede representar a Su Eminencia.
