QUÉ SIGNIFICA FASCINATE EN INGLÉS

Fascinar

Fascinate es una pintura del graffiti en un parque industrial en Bromsten, Estocolmo. Fascinate fue creado por Circle y Tarik, entonces de 17 años de edad, en 1989 y fue entonces la mayor pintura de graffiti en el norte de Europa. Está pintado en una pared exterior de un edificio industrial y fue hecho con el consentimiento del dueño de la propiedad. Fascinate es una de las pinturas de graffiti más antiguas del mundo. En 1989 el graffiti era un fenómeno relativamente nuevo en Suecia. La zona industrial desgastada ahora debe ser demolida y substituida por una zona residencial. Parece ser el final de Fascinate. Se discutió sobre la posible protección de Fascinate, ya que el Museo de la Ciudad de Estocolmo la consideraba culturalmente valiosa. Pero la mayoría de centro-derecha del comité de urbanismo decidió que la pintura no debería mantenerse, refiriéndose a la política de graffiti de la ciudad, que dice que la ciudad no debe "participar en actividades de ninguna manera puede despertar interés y llevar a graffiti".
