QUÉ SIGNIFICA INTERGROUP EN INGLÉS
Intergrupos en el Parlamento Europeo
Se forman grupos intergrupales de diputados al Parlamento Europeo de cualquier grupo político y de cualquier comité con el fin de celebrar intercambios oficiosos de opiniones sobre temas concretos y fomentar el contacto entre los Miembros y la sociedad civil. Los intergrupos no son órganos del Parlamento y no pueden expresar la opinión del Parlamento. Los intergrupos están sujetos a las normas internas aprobadas por la Conferencia de Presidentes el 16 de diciembre de 1999, en las que se establecen las condiciones en que pueden establecerse intergrupos al comienzo de cada legislatura y sus normas de funcionamiento. Los presidentes de intergrupos deben declarar cualquier apoyo que reciban en efectivo o en especie, de acuerdo con los mismos criterios aplicables a los Miembros como individuos. Las declaraciones deben actualizarse cada año y estar inscritas en un registro público en poder de los Cuestores.
