Isómero
En química, los isómeros son moléculas con la misma fórmula molecular pero con diferentes estructuras químicas. Es decir, los isómeros contienen el mismo número de átomos de cada elemento, pero tienen diferentes disposiciones de sus átomos en el espacio. Los isómeros no comparten necesariamente propiedades similares, a menos que también tengan los mismos grupos funcionales. Hay muchas clases diferentes de isómeros, como isómeros posicionales, isómeros cis-trans y enantiómeros, etc. Existen dos formas principales de isomerismo: isomerismo estructural y estereoisomerismo.
