La enfermedad del ocio, similar al síndrome del paraíso, es el nombre dado a una condición psicológica pretendida, no universalmente reconocida por los psicólogos, por el cual algunas personas son más probables divulgar el sentirse enfermo durante fines de semana y vacaciones que trabajando. El síndrome es similar al síndrome de Paradise, en el que el paciente sufre un sentimiento de insatisfacción a pesar de haber logrado todos sus sueños.
