En física, multiplete puede significar: ▪ Un grupo de líneas espectrales relacionadas ▪ Un grupo de partículas subatómicas relacionadas El ejemplo más conocido es un multiplete de hilado, que es una representación grupal de un subgrupo SU del álgebra de Lorentz. Por ejemplo, un singlete de spin es una representación trivial, un doblete de spin es una representación fundamental y un triplete de spin es una representación vectorial.
