Naturalización
La naturalización es el acto o proceso legal por el cual un no ciudadano en un país puede adquirir la ciudadanía o la nacionalidad de ese país. Puede ser hecho por un estatuto, sin ningún esfuerzo por parte del individuo, o puede implicar una solicitud y aprobación por las autoridades legales. Las normas de naturalización varían de un país a otro y normalmente incluyen un requisito mínimo de residencia legal, y pueden especificar otros requisitos como el conocimiento de la lengua o cultura dominante nacional, la promesa de obedecer y mantener las leyes de ese país. También se requiere a veces un juramento o una promesa de lealtad.
