La no intervención o no intervencionismo es una política exterior que sostiene que los gobernantes políticos deben evitar alianzas con otras naciones, pero aún así mantener la diplomacia y evitar todas las guerras no relacionadas con la autodefensa directa. Una definición original más formal es que la no intervención es una política caracterizada por la ausencia de interferencia de un estado o estados en los asuntos externos de otro estado sin su consentimiento o en sus asuntos internos con o sin su consentimiento. Esto se basa en el argumento de que un Estado no debe interferir en la política interna de otro Estado, basada en los principios de la soberanía estatal y la autodeterminación. Una frase similar es "independencia estratégica". Ejemplos históricos de partidarios del no intervencionismo son los presidentes estadounidenses George Washington y Thomas Jefferson, que ambos favorecían la no intervención en las guerras europeas mientras mantenían el libre comercio. Otros defensores incluyen al senador Robert Taft y al congresista estadounidense Ron Paul. La no intervención es distinta y, a menudo, confundida con el aislacionismo, este último con el nacionalismo económico y la inmigración restrictiva.
