Edipo
Edipo era un mítico rey griego de Tebas. Héroe trágico en la mitología griega, Edipo cumplió una profecía que decía que mataría a su padre y, por lo tanto, traería un desastre a su ciudad ya su familia. La historia de Edipo es el tema de la tragedia de Sófocles, el rey Edipo, que fue seguida por Edipo en Colón y luego en Antígona. Juntas, estas obras constituyen las tres obras tebales de Sófocles.
