Proceso Ozalid
El proceso de ozalid es un proceso de impresión de imágenes positivas en papel de patrones en película u otros medios translúcidos. Es semejante a la creación de un fotograma, utilizando papel químicamente tratado. Una película transparente con el patrón a imprimir se coloca sobre un papel revestido de compuesto diazoico. Este sandwich está expuesto a la luz ultravioleta. Después de una exposición de 15 segundos a 5 minutos, se usan vapores de amoníaco para desarrollar la imagen de la película sobre el papel. Su principal uso fue hacer copias de dibujos eléctricos, mecánicos y de ingeniería civil. Todavía se utiliza ampliamente en los países en desarrollo. También se utiliza para pruebas, ya que produce una imagen muy cercana a la obra terminada. Este proceso produce una imagen azul o negra en un papel blanco. Es un proceso de copiado monocromático.
