Pelagianismo
Pelagianismo es la creencia de que el pecado original no manchó la naturaleza humana y que la voluntad mortal es todavía capaz de elegir el bien o el mal sin ayuda divina especial. Esta teoría teológica lleva el nombre de Pelagio, aunque negó, al menos en algún momento de su vida, muchas de las doctrinas asociadas con su nombre. Las enseñanzas de Pelagio generalmente se asocian con el rechazo del pecado original y la práctica del bautismo infantil. Aunque los escritos de Pelagio ya no existen, los ocho cánones del Concilio de Cartago proporcionaron correcciones a los errores percibidos por los primeros Pelagianos.
