Fotodiodo
Un fotodiodo es un dispositivo semiconductor que convierte la luz en corriente. La corriente se genera cuando los fotones son absorbidos en el fotodiodo. También se produce una pequeña cantidad de corriente cuando no hay luz. Los fotodiodos pueden contener filtros ópticos, lentes incorporadas y pueden tener superficies grandes o pequeñas. Los fotodiodos suelen tener un tiempo de respuesta más lento a medida que aumenta su superficie.
