Transporte ferroviario
El transporte ferroviario es un medio de transporte de pasajeros y mercancías, por medio de vehículos de ruedas que circulan sobre carriles. También se refiere comúnmente como transporte del tren. En contraste con el transporte por carretera, donde los vehículos se limitan a correr sobre una superficie preparada, los vehículos ferroviarios también son guiados direccionalmente por las vías en las que se desplazan.
