Acanthiza
Acanthiza es un género de aves pasteuriformes, encontradas principalmente en Australia, pero con una especie restringida a Nueva Guinea. Estas aves se conocen comúnmente como espinos. No están estrechamente relacionados con especies en el género del colibrí Chalcostigma, que también se llaman espinas. Se encuentran principalmente en Australia y tienen un pico largo fino. Coloquialmente la espinilla se refiere a veces como un "tit" por los lugareños, pero en realidad el continente australiano carece de verdaderas tetas, aunque las especies Acanthiza sí muestran algunas similitudes con las tetas en su comportamiento.
