Pronombre reflexivo
Un pronombre reflexivo es un pronombre que es precedido por el sustantivo, adjetivo, adverbio o pronombre al que se refiere dentro de la misma cláusula. En la gramática generativa, un pronombre reflexivo es un anáforo que debe estar ligado por su antecedente. En un sentido general, es una frase nominal que obligatoriamente obtiene su significado de otro sintagma nominal en la oración. Diferentes idiomas tendrán diferentes dominios vinculantes para los pronombres reflexivos, según su estructura. En inglés, la función de un pronombre reflexivo se encuentra entre los significados de las palabras yo mismo, tú mismo, tú mismo, él mismo, ella misma, él mismo, uno mismo, nosotros mismos, nosotros mismos, vosotros mismos, ellos mismos y ellos mismos. En las declaraciones "Yo lo veo" y "Ella te ve", los objetos no son las mismas personas que los sujetos y se usan los pronombres no-reflexivos. Sin embargo, cuando la persona que se ve es la misma que la persona que está viendo, el pronombre reflexivo se utiliza: "Yo me veo" o "Ella se ve".
