Ziban, hist. Dibon es una ciudad en Jordania, situada a unos 70 km al sur de Amman y unos 20 km al este del Mar Muerto. Según los datos bíblicos de Números 21: 25-30, Dibon es el sitio del campamento de los israelitas durante el viaje de Egipto a la Tierra Prometida bajo el mando de Moisés. Primero recibido por los Moabs por Sheikh Amorite, y luego capturado por los israelitas. En agosto de 1868, el misionero alemán F.A. Klein descubrió 124 cm de alto en la Ziba Stela Messa. La superficie grabada fue tomada, pero la placa en sí misma fue cortada en pedazos de beduino antes de ser tomada. La mayoría de los fragmentos se han recuperado, y ahora la estela se almacena en el Museo del Louvre de París, mientras que el Museo Británico en Londres tiene una copia de la misma. Według informacji biblijnej z Księgi Liczb 21:25-30 – Dibon to miejsce obozowania Izraelitów w czasie wędrówki z Egiptu do Ziemi Obiecanej pod dowództwem Mojżesza. Najpierw odebrane Moabitom przez Sychona Amorytę, a następnie zdobyte przez Izraelitów. W sierpniu 1868 roku niemiecki misjonarz F.A. Klein odkrył w Zibanie Stelę Meszy o wysokości 124 cm. Zrobiono odbitkę zapisanej powierzchni, ale samą płytę porozbijali na kawałki Beduini, zanim zdołano ją zabrać. Większość fragmentów udało się jednak odzyskać i obecnie stela jest przechowywana w paryskim Luwrze, zaś w Muzeum Brytyjskim w Londynie znajduje się jej kopia. Stela została sporządzona w IX wieku p.n.e. w Dibonie i opisuje dzieje buntu króla Meszy przeciw Izraelowi opisane przez niego samego.
