Faxymile: una copia de la firma reflejada mecánicamente en el documento. Aprobado por el Código Civil con respecto a los documentos al portador y por el Código de Asociaciones Comerciales y Compañías - con respecto a las acciones. ▪ Impresión exacta de manuscrito, dibujo o impresión. Puede hacerse a mano, mediante impresión o técnica fotográfica. Técnica utilizada hoy principalmente para manuscritos, incunables y publicaciones raras y ricamente decoradas. ▪ Una copia de una firma manuscrita legible, colocada en el anverso de la tarjeta de identificación. ▪ Un sello que reemplaza la firma manuscrita de una persona con una función alta. Se usa a menudo en instituciones de educación superior que expiden documentos en nombre del Rector o Decano o en oficinas públicas que emiten documentos en nombre de altos funcionarios. Principalmente sirve para señalar el 'correo' diario o las cartas que llegan a una oficina, durante la cesión de las mismas, es decir, que se transfieren al acuerdo mediante documentos o unidades individuales. En la práctica, esto significa las firmas del personal de la oficina, por ejemplo, en el ministerio.

Używana często w jednostkach szkół wyższych wydających dokumenty w imieniu rektora lub dziekana jak i w urzędach państwowych wydających dokumenty w imieniu wysokich urzędników państwowych. Służy ona głównie do sygnowania codziennej 'poczty' czyli pism przychodzących do jakiegoś urzędu, podczas cedowania ich, czyli przekazywania do załatwienia przez poszczególne referaty lub jednostki. W praktyce oznacza to sygnowanie przez pracowników biur na przykład w ministerstwach mało istotnych pism 'za szefa'.
