Riksmål

Riksmål - una de las variedades del lenguaje literario noruego. Fue desarrollado por el lingüista Knud Knudsen, que a mediados del siglo XIX tomó la "noruega" del lenguaje común danés-noruego. Knudsen introdujo gradualmente en el lenguaje cada vez más provincialismos, y también "noruega" la pronunciación y la ortografía de las palabras danesas. Bajo la Ley de Igualdad, el riksmål fue reconocido en 1885 con el landsmål como el idioma oficial de Noruega. En 1929 su nombre fue cambiado a bokmål y se permitió la posibilidad de cambio. La variedad conservadora de riksmål está en uso hoy en día. El bokmålu total y el riksmålu como forma escrita usan actualmente el 85-90% de los noruegos, y la gran mayoría utiliza el bokmål. Knudsen wprowadzał stopniowo do języka coraz więcej prowincjonalizmów, a także "norwegizował" wymowę i pisownię duńskich słów. Na podstawie Zarządzenia o równouprawnieniu riksmål został w roku 1885 uznany wraz z landsmålem za język urzędowy Norwegii. W 1929 roku zmieniono jego nazwę na bokmål i dopuszczono możliwości zmian. Konserwatywna odmiana riksmål jest w użyciu do dziś. Łącznie bokmålu i riksmålu jako formy pisanej używa obecnie 85-90% Norwegów, z czego zdecydowana większość posługuje się bokmålem. Użytkownicy riksmålu są niewielką i bardzo konserwatywną grupą.
