Semperit AG: empresa austríaca establecida en 1910, que fabrica productos de caucho y plástico con sede en Viena. En 1985, la empresa alemana fue adquirida por la empresa alemana Continental AG. En 2006 empleó aproximadamente a 6.689 personas y vendió productos por aproximadamente € 574 millones. En el período de entreguerras, esta empresa también operaba en Polonia en Cracovia, como la fábrica de caucho polaca "Semperit" y en Bełchatów como "Sempertrans" como planta de producción de cintas transportadoras. W marcu 1936 roku doszło do strajku okupacyjnego w krakowskiej fabryce, krwawo stłumionego przez policję. W czasie drugiej wojny światowej ogumienie m.in. firmy Semperit trafiało do czołgów i wozów opancerzonych Wehrmachtu.
