La Banque d'Angleterre, formellement gouverneur et société de la Banque d'Angleterre, est la banque centrale du Royaume-Uni et le modèle sur lequel se fondent les banques centrales les plus modernes. Créée en 1694, elle est la deuxième plus grande banque centrale au monde, après la Sveriges Riksbank et la 8ème plus grande banque mondiale.
