QUE SIGNIFIE BIOTOPE EN ANGLAIS
Biotope
Le biotope est une zone de conditions environnementales uniformes fournissant un lieu de vie pour un assemblage spécifique de plantes et d'animaux. Le biotope est presque synonyme du terme «habitat», qui est plus couramment utilisé dans les pays anglophones. Cependant, dans certains pays, ces deux termes sont distingués: le sujet d'un habitat est une espèce ou une population, le sujet d'un biotope est une communauté biologique. C'est un mot d'emprunt anglais dérivé du "Biotop" allemand, qui est à son tour issu du bios grec = 'life' ou 'organisme' et topos = 'place'. Le mot biotope, littéralement traduit, signifie un domaine où vit la vie.
