La caméra de film, caméra de film ou caméra-caméra est un type de caméra photographique qui prend une séquence rapide de photographies sur des bandes de film. La caméra vidéo l'a remplacé en grande partie pour un usage privé, mais à des fins professionnelles, les caméras de films sont utilisées et produites aujourd'hui, en particulier pour la production de films complets. Contrairement à une caméra fixe, qui capture un instantané unique à la fois, la caméra prend une série d'images; Chaque image constitue un "cadre". Cela se fait par un mécanisme intermittent. Les images sont ensuite reproduites dans un projecteur de film à une vitesse spécifique, appelée fréquence d'image. En regardant, les yeux et le cerveau d'une personne fusionnent les images séparées pour créer l'illusion du mouvement.
