Cominform
Fondée en 1947, «Cominform» est le nom commun de ce qu'on appelait officiellement le Bureau d'information des partis communistes et ouvriers. C'était le premier forum officiel du mouvement communiste international depuis la dissolution du Kandin et a confirmé les nouvelles réalités après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, y compris la création d'un Bloc de l'Est. Cominform était une organisation dominée par les Soviétiques de partis communistes fondée en septembre 1947 lors d'une conférence de dirigeants du parti communiste à Szklarska Poręba en Pologne. Le dirigeant soviétique Josef Stalin a appelé la conférence en réponse aux divergences entre les gouvernements communistes sur l'opportunité ou non d'assister à la Conférence de Paris sur Marshall Aid en juillet 1947. Cominform était initialement situé à Belgrade. Après l'expulsion de la Yougoslavie par le groupe en juin 1948, le siège a été transféré à Bucarest, en Roumanie. L'expulsion du Parti communiste de Yougoslavie de Cominform pour le titoïsme a initié la période Informbiro dans l'histoire de ce pays. Le but visé par Cominform était de coordonner les actions entre partis communistes sous la direction soviétique.
