Église réformée néerlandaise
L'Église réformée néerlandaise était une dénomination chrétienne réformée aux Pays-Bas. Il s'est développé pendant la Réforme protestante, avec sa base dans ce que l'on appelait l'Église catholique romaine. Il a été fondé dans les années 1570 et a duré jusqu'en 2004, année où il a fusionné avec les Églises réformées aux Pays-Bas et l'Église évangélique luthérienne dans le Royaume des Pays-Bas pour former l'Église protestante aux Pays-Bas. Au moment de la fusion, l'Église comptait 2 millions de membres dans 1.350 congrégations. Une minorité de membres de l'Église a choisi de ne pas participer à la fusion. Ces anciens membres se sont réorganisés comme Église réformée restaurée. C'était l'une des nombreuses églises locales reconstituées à travers l'Europe pendant la Réforme protestante au 16ème siècle. Alors que l'Église réformée néerlandaise était basée aux Pays-Bas, d'autres églises ayant des vues théologiques similaires ont été fondées en Angleterre, en Ecosse, en Suisse, en Allemagne, en France et en Hongrie. La théologie et la pratique de l'Église réformée néerlandaise et ses églises sœurs dans les pays nommés étaient basées sur les enseignements de Jean Calvin et des nombreux autres réformistes de son époque.
