Œcuménisme
L'œcuménisme est une initiative interconfessionnelle visant à une plus grande unité ou coopération chrétienne. Le terme est utilisé principalement par et en référence aux confessions chrétiennes et aux Églises chrétiennes séparées par la doctrine, l'histoire et la pratique. Dans ce contexte particulier, l'œcuménisme est l'idée d'une unité chrétienne dans le sens littéral: qu'il devrait y avoir une Eglise unique. L'œcuménisme est distinct et distinct du christianisme non confessionnel. Le mot contraste avec le dialogue interreligieux ou le pluralisme interreligieux visant à l'unité ou à la coopération entre diverses religions et se réfère à une "unité religieuse" mondiale par le plaidoyer d'un plus grand sens de la spiritualité partagée.
