L'acide erucique est un acide gras oméga-9 monoinsaturé, noté 22: 1ω9. Il a la formule CH37CH = CH11COOH. Il est répandu dans les graines de tournesol avec une teneur rapportée de 20 à 54% dans l'huile de colza à haute teneur en acide érucique et 42% dans l'huile de moutarde. L'acide érucide est également connu sous le nom d'acide cis-13-docosénoïque et l'isomère trans est connu sous le nom d'acide brassidique.
