Un espace de feuilles est un espace dans la tige d'une plante à travers laquelle la feuille grandit. La feuille est reliée à la tige par la trace des feuilles, qui se développe à travers l'espace des feuilles. L'écart entre les feuilles est une rupture dans le tissu vasculaire d'une tige au-dessus du point de fixation d'une trace de feuille.
